Mr. Bhagat R Patil

Founder & Chairman

He is the founder and chairman of Garden Court Distilleries Private Limited and has over three decades of experience in varied fields ranging from sugar, ethyl alcohol, solvent extraction and refining of edible oil to hospitality and education.

By education he is a Mechanical Engineer and an alumnus of College of Engineering, Pune.

Building on his in-depth understanding of the sugar trade in India and his association with local sugar producers, he has developed Garden Court Distilleries into a leading large volume sugar trader in India and across the world.

Mr.Patil has also set up several successful group companies including Rajaram Solvex Limited for edible oils and Garden Court Restaurants in fine dining and hospitality.

Mr. Patil believes that empowerment through education is the mantra to meet global challenges.

To promote this belief, he has been associated with Kasegaon Education Society, a public charitable trust established in 1945. He has also set up one of the leading schools in Mumbai - Ascend International School.

He currently serves as chairman of Ascend International School, Mumbai and the Rajarambapu Institute of Technology, Islampur in Sangli district of Maharashtra.
